Hi Emily,
I don’t know if you remember Bailey at all, but she was your baby. A sweet Boston Terrier. You loved her so very much. You would snuggle her every night and took such good care of her.
Man did you love her! Sadly, your father would not allow you to bring her when you moved in with him. He didn’t want you to have anything that would give you any connection to me. You were heartbroken.
I couldn’t keep her where I moved and she deserved more time than I had to give, so she went to live with Mr. Bob’s daughter’s family. There she was spoiled and loved (see other Bailey posts).
Unfortunately, they could no longer care for her and asked if I would like her back. Without hesitation I said yes.
When I went to see her for the journey to my house, her forever home, she was so excited to see me. When I picked her up she climbed all around my neck and gave me tons of kisses. I don’t know if she remembered me, but I’d like to think she did.
Uncle Timmy and I are delighted to have her. She is still such a good girl. She loves to play with her toys. She’s chubby (I have her on a diet) but fast!
Today she met Santa! She sat right on his lap and smiled her little puppy smile for her picture.
I am enjoying taking care of my granddog but pray someday she can reunite with her human mom (you).
Love you lots,
Mommy
